Production Controller M/F

Job Description:

As a Production Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of materials to meet customer requirements in line with the production plan. This role requires a proactive and process-driven approach, working closely with production teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient material flow.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

•tCreate, maintain, and execute robust production plans that minimise disruptions and optimise resource use.
•tLiaise closely with the supply chain team and internal departments to ensure timely availability of all required materials and components.
•tSet clear priorities for material allocation, component production, rework, OE activities.
•tActively participate in weekly Supply Chain meetings
•tFollow up with internal suppliers to ensure they remain on track with their commitments.
•tEscalate and expedite components where necessary to maintain OTD performance.
•tCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive planning improvements.
•tProvide cover for other planners during short-term absences.
•tContinuously seek out and implement improvements to enhance planning processes and efficiency.

Job Requirements:

Essential Skills
•\tStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive issues to resolution.
•\tExperience using SAP, Excel, and other digital tools for materials planning.
•\tAbility to work under pressure, influence stakeholders, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills
•\tExperience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
•\tKnowledge of production planning processes and inventory management.
•\tAnalytical mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
