Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities:
• Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations along with company policy, FAA, EPA, OSHA, and DOT agencies to manage the facilitys compliance with regard to safety, health, and environmental procedures and requirements.
• Conduct audits of hazardous waste procedures
• Arrange initial and subsequent periodic tests for audiograms, chemical absorption, fit tests for respirator use, and other applicable monitoring
• Perform initial, process-change, and remedial Job Hazard/Job Safety Analysis (JHS/JSA)
• Maintain, update, and (where needed) develop training and action plans
• Investigate health and safety related concerns and incidents
• Liaison during regulatory and customer audits conducted at AerSale.
• Maintain records of medical surveillance, training, investigations, and audits
• Collaborate with management and personnel to encourage a culture of safety
• Participating in “train-the-trainer” instruction.
• Flexibility to assist other department as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Minimum an Associates Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (Bachelor of Science Degree or Certified Industrial Hygienist Credentials Highly Preferred)
• Preferred Certifications include General Industry Standards, Hazwoper, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Cadmium and Hexavalent Chromium
• Minimum of 5 years experience working in a safety surveillance role
• Must Successfully complete a comprehensive background check.

• Ability to understand occupational safety and heath principles
• Ability to recognize current or future problems.
• Excellent organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Occasional overtime to meet deadlines.
• Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.
• Manual Dexterity.
