Job Purpose
The Public Relations Specialist Multimedia Content Producer will support our brand storytelling and content presence across traditional, digital and social media platforms through the identification and development of compelling and creative PR stories, that are reflected in a multitude of content types including video, graphics, imagery and other assets used on Emirates owned channels and for earned media outreach.
In this role you will
- Work with the Public Relations (PR) Manager to develop and execute stories and campaigns that support the company?s brand objectives, and business briefs.
- Craft and distribute news releases, feature stories, media advisories, and pitches to journalists and influencers that align to our brand and image.
- Create and manage content across various formats (video, photography, infographics, podcasts, animations) to support communications activity and messaging.
- Assist in planning and executing media and influencer events.
- Manage media and influencer relationships and activity, acting as a liaison between the company and external media parties.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders within assigned projects, to identify storytelling opportunities and ensure message and brand consistency across the content produced.
- Monitor media coverage, prepare PR reports, and analyse campaign performance and interpret PR and social media metrics to optimise content for present and future campaigns.
- Support the broader PR team on crisis communication efforts and assist in rapid response messaging as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends, global trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media, and multimedia communications.
QualificationTo be successful in this role, you must met the below requirements:
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in PR, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or similar.
- 5+ years in Marketing & Media, Communications or similar.
- Experience in public relations, communications, journalism, preferably with a multi-media or digital focus.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across formats.
- Solid understanding of the traditional and digital media landscape, social media platforms, media monitoring and reporting tools.
- Digital publishing skills and some proficiency in multimedia tools for editing video, images, audio, graphics, presentations. Professional proficiency in multimedia tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Canva, Audacity, etc.), would be an advantage.
- Experience in briefing and supervising production teams and agencies to deliver high quality multimedia content.
- Experience managing media and influencer outreach.
- Experience working on PR campaigns and events.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Diligence and attention to detail, with a proactive attitude.
