The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Data Analytics Project Owner to join the team in Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Mesa, AZ; or North Charleston, SC.
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Data Analytics Project Owner to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data analytics projects. The ideal candidate will possess a technical understanding of Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies combined with exceptional project management experience. This role will be instrumental in driving our data-driven initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering high-quality, impactful solutions across the organization. The Senior Data Analytics Project Owner will manage multiple projects simultaneously and act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. Position Responsibilities:
Define project scope, milestones and deliverables for large data and analytics projects by aligning with business stakeholders
Develop detailed project plans, resource requirements, schedules and budgets
Lead end-to-end planning, prioritization, execution, and delivery of projects across multiple projects and teams
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project delivery milestones sprint outcomes, earned value management, risks, dependencies etc.
Manage delivery of high quality, scalable data solutions – including data platforms, governed data products, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions
Facilitate regular project meetings, including steering committee updates, stakeholder reviews, and team stand-ups to resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks.
Manage stake holder expectations and ensure their needs are accurately captured and addressed through regular executive level project status updates and dashboards
Manage scope changes through formal change control processes and ensure adherence to all governance and privacy standards are met.
Identify and proactively manage risks related to data availability, quality, architecture or other areas as needed
Ensure proper documentation and handover of deliverables happen at project closure including post-project reviews and documenting lessons learned
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
10+ years of experience with technical program management in Data and Analytics in the areas of cloud modernization, data product delivery, governance, AI/ML, etc.
8+ years of experience in project management methodologies such as Scrum, Agile, etc.
5+ years of experience in driving the adoption of data platforms, tools and governance practices
5+ years of experience in driving executive and operational stakeholder engagement
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Current PMP or PgMP certifications
Current Agile/Scrum (e.g., CSM, SAFe) certifications
Current cloud certification (e.g., AWZ, Azure, GCP, etc.)
Experience with cloud technologies
Experience working with all levels from individual contributor to senior leadership
Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously

Summary pay range: $140,250 – $203,550
