What can you expect from your 8–16-month internship at Bombardier?
From day one, you will contribute to the delivery of real projects using the latest technology to solve business problems. Over the course of your internship, you will receive one-on-one training and coaching from a team of talented experts and take on increasing responsibility, while learning in a challenging and rewarding environment. Advanced Aerodynamics design and develop high-quality aircraft aerodynamic configurations and provide aerodynamic support to all functions involved in the design, development, certification and support of Bombardier aircraft.
What are your contributions to the team?
Participating in the aerodynamic design and analysis of various aircraft configurations, with a focus on external aerodynamics
Investigating Aerodynamic Shape Optimization (ASO) and steady-state Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) algorithms in conjunction with High Performance Computing (HPC) techniques
Expanding Bombardier’s in-house ASO and CFD capabilities, including introducing new methods to reduce turnaround time and to better explore the design space
Applying novel mesh generation and deformation techniques, CAD-free and/or CAD-centered, compatible with in-house and/or commercially available grid generation packages
During your internship, you will learn:
How to thrive in this role?
