MAG Aerospace is looking for a Senior Level Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering as a transdisciplinary and integrative approach that enables the successful realization, operation, and retirement of engineered systems. This involves applying systems principles, scientific methods, technological knowledge, and management practices to ensure that systems meet stakeholder needs and function effectively in their intended environment technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Understanding stakeholder needs and expectations and translating them into system requirements.
- Integrating multiple disciplines and specialty groups into a structured development process from concept through production, operation, and disposal.
- Documenting requirements, performing design synthesis, and validating solutions while considering the complete problem, including technical, business, and operational aspects.
- Ensuring system quality and performance by managing trade-offs, risks, and constraints across the system life cycle.

Minimum Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- Recent engineering assignments supporting design, development, and acquisition of EW systems.
- Familiarity with systems engineering technical and technical management processes.
- Ability to work on multi-functional teams.
- Experience with developing and Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) and/or Concept of Employment (CONEMP).
- Experience with developing systems engineering requirements, to include, but not limited to Systems Requirements Documents (SRD), System/Subsystem Specifications (SSS), and System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDD
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other technical discipline
- Minimum 10 years full-time professional experience as a Systems Engineer
Desired Requirements
- Experience working with federal civilian or DOD personnel, including geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders.
Other Qualifications
- Current active TS/SCI DoD Security Clearance
- Possess DoD Approved Baseline Certification as Information Assurance Manager Level II in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M. (i.e., CISSP, JSSEP, Sec+CE, GSNA, GSLC or CISM)
- This position is 100 in Government spaces; no telework authorized

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $150000 to $180000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
