Mistwood Aviation Services, LLC is a Cirrus Service Center located at Spirit of St. Louis Airport (KSUS) and a FAA 145 repair station. We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in General Aviation aircraft maintenance and repair, ensuring that all aircraft meet safety and operational standards. This role requires attention to detail, problem solving skills, adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Aircraft Mechanic will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our fleet. To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the qualification requirements & be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. As an A&P, you will be responsible for the following:
- Conduct routine repairs and maintenance on aircraft systems and components.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as ammeters, calipers, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize EBIS for tracking maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Read and interpret AMMs and IPCs
- Other jobs as assigned by the Director of Maintenance
