Location: Lithia, Springs, GA Payrate: $20/hour Schedule: 1st shift, 7am to 3:30 pm
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with an industry leader in process technologies, services, and automation to find skilled and motivated Crate Builders who take pride in hands-on work and attention to detail. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring valuable products are safely packaged and protected for shipment around the world.

What You’ll Do
As a Crate Builder, you will be responsible for constructing custom wooden crates and packaging solutions designed to protect products during transport. Your work directly impacts shipping quality, customer satisfaction, and operational success.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Build custom wooden crates and packaging based on product specifications
Measure, cut, and assemble materials including wood, cardboard, and foam
Operate hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment safely and effectively
Follow blueprints, packaging instructions, and work guidelines accurately
Secure products to ensure safe transport and delivery
Inspect completed crates for quality, durability, and accuracy
Collaborate with shipping, warehouse, and production teams to meet deadlines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Follow all company safety procedures and policies
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
Basic math and measuring skills
Ability to read tape measures and follow simple instructions or drawings
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in crating, carpentry, manufacturing, or warehouse operations
Forklift operating experience

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
