Make an Impact Where Precision Meets PowerPDS Tech Commercial is hiring a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer IV to support a globally recognized leader in the energy industry. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in advancing high-performance manufacturing processes, optimizing CNC programming, and supporting production of complex components used in cutting-edge energy applications.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technologies, multi-axis machining, and high-performance materials—all while contributing to solutions that power the world.
What You’ll DoAs a key member of the engineering team, you will:
Develop and maintain CNC programs using NX-CAM or similar software for multi-axis milling, turning, grinding, and EDM operations
Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines including VMC, VTL, HBM, HMC, and EDM (wire, sinker, fast hole)
Work across machine platforms including Okuma, Haas, Siemens, and Fanuc controls
Validate programs using Vericut simulation prior to production release
Utilize advanced CNC techniques such as sub-routines (macros), Renishaw probing, and closed-loop machining (CLM)
Support manufacturing teams by troubleshooting issues and providing hands-on shop floor guidance
Train operators, programmers, and engineers on CNC processes and best practices
Drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
✅ What You BringRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Proven experience in CNC programming and manufacturing engineering
Hands-on experience with multi-axis machining and advanced CNC controls
Strong knowledge of geometry and trigonometry (shop math)
Experience working with superalloys used in aerospace or heavy-duty gas turbine applications
Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and improve manufacturing processes
Preferred QualificationsProficiency in NX-CAM and Vericut
Experience with Renishaw probing systems and macro programming
Background in high-temperature materials and precision machining environments
Prior experience training or mentoring shop floor personnel

Pay Details: $62.59 per hour
