Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience to support our quality and manufacturing operations on the swing shift. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CMM inspection programs to ensure product compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and create CMM programs for inspection of parts and assemblies
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and specifications
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using CMM equipment
• Validate and troubleshoot existing inspection programs for accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve dimensional issues
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of inspection results
• Maintain calibration standards and ensure proper use of metrology equipment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for inspection processes

• Minimum 5 years of CMM programming experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience creating inspection programs (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software)
• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques
• Ability to work independently during swing shift hours
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-precision manufacturing
• Familiarity with ISO or AS9100 quality standards
• Technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayward, CA.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
