Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 45 years. Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 30 aircraft and employs over 1,000 people in one of the worlds most demanding flying environments.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Contributes to the sustainability of the technological park, in particular through the administration of servers, technical assistance to employees when using IT tools and the communication of good user practices.
Assumes a role of technical expert and contributes to the resolution of technically complex problems. Influence practices, working methods and procedures from a technical point of view and participate in their development in order to optimize their quality and efficiency. Collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders. Contributes to knowledge transfer by mentoring and coaching less experienced employees on his team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support and work to improve processes.
- Direct participation and sometimes acts in terms of responsible for certain portions of
- Infrastructure upgrade projects including northern Quebec.
- Guide the documentation and drafting of procedures
- Solve complex problems.
- Seen as a reference by the members of his team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree in computer science.
- Minimum 6-9 years’ relevant experience
- Technical knowledge:
- Excellent knowledge of MS Window, MS Office, Internet, and hardware.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
- Excellent knowledge of Group Policy (GPO).
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Bilingual (French-English).
- Eager to learn
- Attention to details
- Able to handle stress
- Available to travel in Nunavik.
