Job Duties and Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for preparing, painting, and detailing aircraft according to company standards, manufacturer specifications, and customer requirements using various tools and techniques.
- Strong buffing and polishing skills of urethanes and acrylic clear coats.
- Eye for precision and attention to detail.
- Design, layout, and graphic experience. (a plus!) Language Ability
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Math Ability
- Ability to apply concepts of basic math and algebra, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to calculate mix ratios in order to mix sealant, filler materials, and paint. Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Requirements
- Must be able to pass the Pulmonary Function Test to obtain respirator certification and wear a respirator.
- Ability to become certified on a forklift, scissor lift, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends when necessary.
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience painting V/VIP aircraft. (nose to tail) Wide-Body Aircraft (I.E Boeing 777/767, Airbus 320)
- Valid FAA A&P License is preferred
- Basic computer skills.
